The Atlantic County Economic Alliance is a nonprofit economic development corporation established in 2016 to lead business attraction, retention, and marketing efforts in Atlantic County.

Mission: The mission of the Atlantic County Economic Alliance is to drive economic growth and cultivate economic diversity in Atlantic County through the execution of the Atlantic County Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan developed in 2015 by AngelouEconomics, a nationally recognized independent consultant from Austin, Texas.

Accomplishments:

  • Creation of an Interim Board of Directors
  • Development and adoption of by-laws
  • Application for incorporation as a 501(c)3
  • Securing an annual $500,000 funding commitment for 5 years
  • Obtaining office space at the Hamilton Mall, Mays Landing
  • Conducting a nationwide search for an executive director
  • Developing a web site
  • Developing a fundraising campaign and marketing efforts
